St. Paul Headshots

I’ll be photographing Brian’s Bar Mitzvah later this spring, but his family wanted some photos of him prior to the big day!  On what turned out to be the last nice day in November, we met up in St. Paul for a quick photo session.  He’s such a natural in front of the camera ~ I can’t wait to work with him again!

One Light Workshop

Back in November, I had the good fortune to attend Zack Arias’ One Light Workshop, a fabulous photography workshop with a focus on lighting. 2010 Dates were recently announced here.  I can’t wait to try out everything I learned in a wedding setting!  In the meantime, I’ve been practicing during my portrait sessions.

During the workshop, we had the opportunity to photograph some Atlanta-area musicians.  Here are a few photos of Ryan Horne ~ his new album just came out this week {iTunes link}.  Good stuff!

So Big! | Children’s Photographer

I realize that I am totally biased, but isn’t my nephew just getting cuter by the month?  I mean he was cute back in September.  And just look at him at our family Thanksgiving gathering!

CDEDiptych1These pictures make me so happy I took up photography.  I love that I can capture every eyelash and every spot of drool forever.  I only wish I got to see him more often! We also visited the John Deere Pavillion in Moline and snapped a couple classic photos on the giant tractors.  We have to remind this city boy of his roots!

Autumn Afternoon | Edina Family Portraits

In early November, I returned to the Edina home of Ben & Eva for a holiday-themed photo session.  It was a beautiful afternoon! We took lots of family photos and also took some of little Eva by herself.  She still has those stunning blue eyes from her newborn portraits.

Say Hi to Stella | Edina Children’s Photography

What a difference a year makes!  Stella has changed and grown so much since last Christmas.   See for yourself!   This year, we took pictures in Stella’s new home and we had some fun on the golf course nearby.
