In early November, I returned to the Edina home of Ben & Eva for a holiday-themed photo session. It was a beautiful afternoon! We took lots of family photos and also took some of little Eva by herself. She still has those stunning blue eyes from her newborn portraits.
What a difference a year makes! Stella has changed and grown so much since last Christmas. See for yourself! This year, we took pictures in Stella’s new home and we had some fun on the golf course nearby.
Stella’s going to be a big sister in the next month. I can’t wait to meet her sibling!
Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Ben, just a week after his third birthday. This was a fun session we did his Edina backyard. That meant there were lots of toys to play with. Ben showed off his spiderman scooter:
We played some golf and Ben took a few pictures too. He made a few wardrobe changes to appear as Batman and a construction worker.
I seriously want to rent out this perfectly shaded yard for all of my sessions …

I met E and his parents at a park in Edina last Sunday for a quick family session! We had to reschedule once due to rain, so even though it was cloudy and a bit chilly, we powered through on Sunday. It was a fun day!

This morning I got to hang out with Ben and his parents, for a portrait shoot at Braemar Park in Edina! Although most people think sunny days are best for pictures, I just love shooting on overcast days. The light is even and colors can really pop, and that’s how it was today. We played on the slides:
And we swung on the swings:
And ran around a lot! Even though it was early, and still in the 70s, it was humid enough to work up quite a sweat.
Ben’s favorite part of the park was the ticket booth. The bright green walls made for some really cool photos.
We played around until it was time for “munch.” What a fun morning!
