August in January

A few weekends ago, I met up with August and his mom at Gold Medal Park for a few wintry photos before he turns 2 years old next month.  While this has been the warmest winter I can remember since I moved in Minneapolis ten years ago, it is still hard for a little one to stay warm outside for long. So we soon moved inside to  take a few more photos in the Guthrie’s big yellow box. August was a bit taken a back by the stunning view (and the translucent floor) but he soon warmed up and I got a images with that iconic backdrop.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Has there ever been a better portrait of a child? Don’t think so.

And…, he is our grandson. Thank you so much for creating these wonderful photos.
