Welcome to my blog! I'm Sarah McGee, of Sarah McGee Photography. I'm a photographer based in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area. I've been photographing weddings, bar mitzvahs, and other events since 2007. I also create children and family portraits on location. I love capturing genuine, unposed emotions and preserving special moments for years to come. My style is modern, colorful, and fun. Noelle – Nine Months

Noelle and her mom met me at Saint Anthony Main for a quick photoshoot and yummy dinner at Kikugawa. As much as I’ve complained about the weather this spring, we got lucky for this shoot! I loved how she looked among all the bricks.

We played on the planters and benches:

Noelle was all smiles for the hour, which was such a treat.

And she was eager to show off her crawling skills.

This portrait session was really special to me, because almost 2 years ago, Noelle’s sister Maura was my first “practice” client. We did a portrait session in the Lake Harriet Rose Garden and had a great time. Here’s Maura at 9 months … she and her sister look a lot a like, don’t they?
