Welcome to my blog! I'm Sarah McGee, of Sarah McGee Photography. I'm a photographer based in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area. I've been photographing weddings, bar mitzvahs, and other events since 2007. I also create children and family portraits on location. I love capturing genuine, unposed emotions and preserving special moments for years to come. My style is modern, colorful, and fun. New Year’s Day Family Portraits in Mendota Heights

Earlier in the fall I was contacted by a bridesmaid from one of my spring weddings to see if I could take photos of her and her parents, children, and siblings sometime over the holidays. It turned out the best time was early on New Year’s day. And I can’t think of a better way to start 2009 — making beautiful images for this family to treasure for years to come.
